Typical Itinerary

Meet for lunch at Norfolk Lavender Farm and then enjoy a look around the farm-shop, garden-centre or gardens. Spend the evening getting to know one another and maybe playing some games.

Journey to Whitby with its quirky narrow streets and bustling harbour. We will go to Whitby Pavilion and enjoy a show and maybe have a dance. We shall then have a wander round Whitby. In the evening visit Hadley’s to enjoy Fish and Chips.

We will arrive for a spot of lunch in the Courtyard Café before exploring the history behind Castle Howard, one of Britain’s finest historic houses. Also explore the beautiful gardens set in the 1,000 acres surrounding the castle, with rolling lawns, lakes, fountains and temples!

Head to the Scarborough Fair Collection which hosts a magnificent collection of Vintage Cars, Steam Engines, Vintage Fairground Rides and Mechanical Organs topped off with a Mighty Wurlitzer Organ in the ballroom. We will have lunch in the ballroom and be entertained by the vintage dance organs while you eat.

On our way home visit York Railway Museum home to 300 years of history. Marvel at iconic locomotives, watch engineering work in progress in the Workshop and browse the object-filled warehouse.
