Occupying a secluded, rural position within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty in the heart of the Purbecks you’ll find Woodyhyde Courtyard. Woodyhyde Courtyard is a large detached, single-storey holiday property with its own leisure facilities including heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, games room and large enclosed outside field.
There is a choice of double or twin bedrooms each with an ensuite shower room or bathroom, with WiFi coverage throughout the property. The living space is open plan and beautifully light, with lots of room to gather in the evenings. All towels and linen are provided.
Typical Itinerary
Meet for lunch at the Tea Total Café in the delightful New Forest Visitor Centre. Packed full of displays and activities about the national park, there is something here for everyone! Wander round the museum or take a stroll through the gallery.
Enjoy the view of the bay from the Swanage Grand Hotel at lunch. Then take a trip back in time on a steam train taking in the spectacular views from Swanage to Norden passing through Corfe Castle. After have a stroll down to the beach in Swanage and maybe have an ice-cream.
Have lunch at Moreton tea room and if you want, visit the grave of Lawrence of Arabia round the corner. After lunch we will visit Sculptures by the Lakes where we will take a gentle stroll enjoying the fresh air, birdsong, wildlife, gardens and of course all the fabulous sculptures.
Visit Bournemouth via the car ferry, have some lunch then listen to music from the Compton organ at the Pavilion Theatre. Then we can visit the seafront and have a walk around Bournemouth Lower Park gardens or walk along the pier.
Travel to Athelhampton House and Gardens, a spectacular 15th century manor house and grounds 5 miles east of the Dorset town of Dorchester. Athelhampton provides an excellent historical experience.
